Certifications and Standards
UPC
The product meets the “Uniform Plumbing Code” specifications and guidelines set forth by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). his assures the products are safe for the consumer and the environment by meeting all established national and international criteria.
ANSI
The products meet FDA’s health and sanitation requirements for materials and finishes of food equipment, as set forth in the ANSI 51 standard. This includes testing the surface with harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, to ensure cleanability and corrosion resistance.
cUPC
The products meet the Canadian, and American plumbing standards.
ASME
A universally-acknowledged set of safety standards developed by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
ADA APPROVED
The products comply with the American Disabilities Act (ADA), meant to provide ease of operation and access. ADA compliant faucets are operable with one hand without needing tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. ADA compliant sinks are mounted no higher than 34-inches off the floor, have 27 x 30 inches of knee clearance below the sink, and pipes under the sink are insulated.
