2-Inch PVC Solvent Weld Shower Drain with Receptor Base & 4-1/4-Inch Chrome Strainer

The Allora USA AL5-08-C is a 2" glue-on PVC shower pan drain with a 4-1/4" screw-in cover in polished chrome. The black PVC body and receptor base solvent-cement directly to 2" Schedule 40 PVC DWV pipe. The chrome cover matches standard chrome trim, valves, and accessories, which keeps the finish schedule consistent across the job.

The drain is built for preformed shower pans in fiberglass, acrylic, and molded stone. The threaded drain body and the receptor base clamp the pan from both sides. An NBR rubber washer and a fiber washer seal against the underside of the pan. Once the cemented joint cures, it will not loosen, back off, or weep. There are no mechanical connections to re-tighten after installation.

Two chrome-matched stainless steel screws hold the cover in place. Crews can pull the cover with a screwdriver for drain access, cleanouts, or punch-list work. The PVC body is unaffected by hard water and common cleaners. The chrome plating resists corrosion in daily service.
